I sometimes describe myself as a person who is always “peeking over the fence.” No matter what I’ve done, accomplished or earned, I always have my eye on the next step. The next promotion, the nicer apartment, the faster mile pace on the treadmill, the smaller dress size (um, or something).
Having just moved to a new apartment and lacking an internet connection, I haven’t been able to keep up with blogging as much as I would have liked. I scheduled a few posts ahead of time but today, the well was dry. No photos, no blog-worthy recipes in the queue. So, using the sliver of signal I’ve managed to muster thanks to Comcast Bill I thought I’d do a new kind of post.
So for once, rather than looking ahead, I’m going to take a moment to look back and reflect on my accomplishments during the month of November. Here, you’ll find a round-up of the recipes I posted in November, some my own creations and some shared by cookbooks, magazines and blogs.
Breakfast, Bread & Muffins
Cranberry Cornmeal Quick Bread
Spinach & Cheddar Breakfast Bake with Chicken Sausage
Not-So-Bad-For-You Banana Bread

Psst…it’s November 30 and I didn’t miss a day of posting. I can now happily say that I’ve completed National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo). If you don’t hear from me for a few days, send help. And recipes.

Congrats on completing NaBloPoMo. I remember feeling so relieved last year when I was done, and then a few days later realized that I missed blogging a lot. Go figure. I think it gives you a whole new appreciation of what you’re doing.
The recipes look wonderful. I’ve bookmarked several and probably will add them to my upcoming kitchen adventures.
congrats on completing the challenge!!
and i’m book marking this post for all the amazing recipes.
Thanks for the recipe round up. You had so many great ones that I’ve already made or am planning on making (I couldnt keep up with all of them in just one month). I adore your blog and your recipes. Thanks for sharing. I routinely use your archives when I need to make something great.
I like this monthly index of recipes. It lets me know if I missed one. Isn’t there a phrase “Out of necessity an idea is born” –or something like that?
I am also a forward thinker. I need to stop doing that. I hope you didn’t torture Comcast Bill TOO MUCH.
congrats on finishing NaBloPoMo! I never could have done it so that’s a real accomplishment!
and even though you don’t have internet connection, I hope you are enjoying the new apartment so far! moving is never fun but hopefully the decorating is!
Wow, a post every day! Good for you! Hope you are enjoying your new place
