Easily one of my favorite parts of any weekend is Saturday morning. I've talked before about how on Saturday morning you're either reveling in the fun from Friday night, refreshed from the night of rest after a long workweek and looking forward to two full days of doing whatever you want, whenever you want.
Saturday nights are fun, sure, but Saturday mornings are full of weekend opportunity. One of those weekend opportunities is brunch. Whether it's staying in for French toast and bacon, stopping for bagels at your favorite local deli or going to long, relaxing brunch out accompanied with unlimited mimosas – brunch is a weekend highlight for me.
What are your favorite weekend brunch foods?
Did you notice that I've been posting more frequently than usual this week? In celebration of National Novel Writing Month, some bloggers choose to commemorate November with NaBloPoMo, or National Blog Posting Month. I've challenged myself to post daily this month and hope that you'll challenge yourselves to read them all!

Can’t beat delicious brunch fare! You named the classic favorites
An Israeli breakfast. The best!
A nice (small for me please) Bloody Mary is a definite. After that I like both something sweet, whether it be french toast or a bagel with cream cheese, and some protein. Preferably chicken sausage or turkey bacon.
brunch is my favorite meal ever. powdered sugar french toast with some fresh berries is just divine.
There’s a great restaurant in my area that does a lovely french toast, bacon and scrambled egg combo – so delicious.
Unfortunately it’s only available on a sunday, not a saturday. On a saturday it’s just normal toast with the egg and bacon.
Dimsum – assorted chinese dumplings, rice porridge, fragrant jasmine tea. yummm!
Hands down-a bloody mary!
I’m a big, big fan of brunch, and not many places in my town do that. Which is majorly sad. But in my college town, we would celebrate Sundays with a huge brunch at a local restaurant, complete with double shot mimosas (yum), eggs benedict and some hashbrowns. … I kind of want that now.
I like huevos rancheros or my “diet” eggs Benedict (whole grain toast, ham or bacon, broiled tomatoes and poached eggs) for brunch. Or, my mom’s scones with Russian raspberry jam. And prosecco!
French toatst and mimosas cannot be beat.
Love dim sum, pancakes, eggs, or even a selection of meats and cheeses, to enjoy for brunch. Really happy to eat anything!
