Hello, my name is Kelly Tate and welcome to In Good Taste.
First and foremost, I am a mother and wife. Secondly, I’m a blogger and all-around advice giver although my 20-year-old self would have never believed either of those statements.
As most bloggers say, I never intended on blogging, 15 years ago I was drinking and dancing my nights away without a care or real commitment in the world. I was your typical happy go lucky girl from the South who enjoyed being surrounded by friends and having a good old time, and blogging didn’t really fit into that dynamic.
Fast forward 15 years and I am the very lucky mother of two beautiful children and the wife of the most incredible, supportive husband. I am a full-time stay at home mum and absolutely love it.
I met my hubby Christopher 8 years ago and it was honestly like Prince Charming had stepped into my life and whereas before I was never really sold on having a family, I immediately wanted to start one with Chris. After a whirlwind 12 months, Chris surprised me with a trip to Paris for our anniversary and during dinner in the Eifel Tower, he got down one knee and asked me to marry him, (of course, I screamed with joy and burst into tears).
When we got home I packed up my things and moved into Christopher’s home in Oxford.
It was honestly a dream and after four years, we fell pregnant with Sophia.
I started In Good Taste when my Sophia moved onto solid foods and I headed online to have a look for some healthy food options. I stumbled upon blog after blog yet nothing stood out to me and so I took it upon myself to create a community where mums, whether they are experienced or new to this, could come for healthy, delicious recipes for all the family.
Over time this has evolved, like my family, into a mummy lifestyle blog where I offer advice, share my experiences of family life and of course, offer good food guides for families.
I like to think that no subject is out of bounds and whatever you need, be it advice on how to soothe your babies, activities to do with young kids in the city or how to feed four for under £10, In Good Taste has got you covered.
If you have any questions for me, would like to publish some of your own content on In Good Taste or would generally just like to chat; please don’t hesitate to get in touch today.
